Garden Pond Design Workshop (Greenwich Audubon)

October 27, 2019 @ 9:30 am - 12:00 pm

Learn how to build a manageable pond in your yard to benefit your garden!

Join biologist Jim Carr who has taught at the New York Botanical Gardens and Audubon Land Steward Andy Chapin for a workshop to learn how to build a small pond in your backyard!

Ponds are tremendously beneficial for your garden, providing critical hydration to your plants and vital habitat for wildlife that support the health of your garden. This program will help you learn techniques for designing your very own pond, and will contain a portion of lecture and hands-on training outside. This program is recommended for adults and children over 12 who are comfortable with lecture. All levels of awareness and experience welcome.
