Gallery Tour: Summer Exhibitions – Nancy Friese and Cow Tales at Florence Griswold Museum

Visitors can discover two unique exhibitions during this engaging gallery tour at the Florence Griswold Museum in Old Lyme. Led by Museum Docent Nancy Mol, this guided tour will introduce guests to Nancy Friese: Living Landscapes and Cow Tales.

Participants will explore Friese’s vibrant, large-scale works that capture the beauty of the natural world through her masterful use of color and composition. The tour also highlights the museum’s whimsical and intriguing collection of cow-inspired images showcased in Cow Tales, offering a delightful look at how artists have found creative inspiration in pastoral themes.

This docent-led gallery tour takes place on Sunday, July 20, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm and is included with museum admission.
