Gallery Talk: Maureen Kelleher, Social Justice Quilts Project at Fairfield University Art Museum

Maureen Kelleher, co-founder of the Social Justice Collaboration Quilts Project, will present a gallery talk exploring her group’s work and the powerful role of quilting as a medium for dialogue, activism, and community building. The project highlights how collaborative textile art can raise awareness of social justice issues while creating spaces for shared reflection and expression.

The talk will take place on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 12 pm to 1 pm at the Fairfield University Art Museum, 1073 North Benson Road, Fairfield, CT 06824. Admission is free.
