Gabriel Dawe: Plexus no. 43 at the Bruce Museum
April 16 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 10:00 am on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, repeating until February 1, 2026

The Bruce Museum in Greenwich presents “Gabriel Dawe: Plexus no. 43,” on view from April 2, 2023, through February 1, 2026. This large-scale, vibrant installation by Gabriel Dawe, a Mexican-born artist based in Dallas, uses thousands of multicolored sewing threads meticulously woven together to capture the full spectrum of visible light. The resulting artwork, both delicate and dynamic, highlights connections between light, architecture, and the human form. Exhibition texts are available in both English and Spanish.
Museum hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm. Admission is $20 for adults, $15 for seniors (62+) and students, and free for members and children under 5. Discounted and reciprocal admissions must be redeemed in-person. The Bruce Museum participates in Museums for All, offering free admission with an EBT card for groups up to four individuals.
The Bruce Museum is located at 1 Museum Drive, Greenwich, CT 06903. For more information, visit brucemuseum.org or contact info@brucemuseum.org.
