Fussy Coffee Grand Opening at Science Park in New Haven

August 30, 2018 @ 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Yale University Properties is hosting a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 3:00pm to welcome Fussy Coffee to Science Park and to New Haven.  The ceremony will take place at 290 Winchester Avenue and is open to the public. Mayor Toni N. Harp will be joining the festivities.

The name Fussy Coffee is in direct contrast to the relaxed atmosphere of the café.  Its owners, David Negreiro and Joseph Ballaro, wanted to share their love and passion for the perfect cup of coffee.  Fussy Coffee also offers breakfast sandwiches, baked goods, lunch sandwiches, burgers, salads, poke bowls, Belgian frites with specialty dipping sauces, craft beers and more.  Both vegetarian and vegan options are available.

Fussy Coffee will be celebrating their Grand Opening with coffee tastings, food specials like $1 burgers, a special brunch and more from Friday, August 31 through Sunday, September 2.  Additional information can be found on their website www.drinkfussycoffee.com

“I wanted to bring my passion and experience to the best city in Connecticut, which is in my opinion the foodie capital of Connecticut,” said David Negreiro.  “We are excited to be in Science Park and part of the development in this New Haven neighborhood” added David.

Fussy Coffee, located at 290 Winchester Avenue, is open 7 days a week, Monday through Saturday from 7:00am – 9:00pm, and Sunday from 8:00am – 6:00pm.
