Forest Bathing Along the Artists’ Trail at Florence Griswold Museum

Slow down and reconnect with the natural world during Forest Bathing Along the Artists’ Trail on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at the Florence Griswold Museum.

Led by Regan Stacey, a certified forest bathing guide, this guided experience invites participants to awaken their senses while exploring the Museum’s Artists’ Trail. Forest Bathing is a slow-paced practice focused on connecting the mind and body with the surrounding environment through guided invitations to engage all five senses.

The experience is designed to encourage a more mindful way of living while offering potential benefits for mental and physical wellbeing. Walking is intentionally unhurried, allowing participants to observe, listen and experience the natural surroundings at a relaxed pace.

Admission is $45, with a 10% discount available for museum members. The program takes place rain or shine, so participants should dress accordingly. Tickets are available through Forest Bathing Along the Artists’ Trail registration.

Forest Bathing Along the Artists’ Trail takes place at the Florence Griswold Museum, 96 Lyme Street, Old Lyme, Connecticut 06371. Additional event information is available at Florence Griswold Museum event page.
