Flags of the Republic Exhibit at Noah Webster House
An event every week that begins at 1:00 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, repeating until July 4, 2025
The Noah Webster House in West Hartford presents the Flags of the Republic Exhibit, on view from June 14 through July 4, 2025. This special exhibition explores America’s evolving identity through a rare and extensive collection of historic flags.
Visitors can view all 27 official versions of the American flag, along with five full-size historic flags, including the unique 15-star, 15-stripe “Stars and Stripes” design. The exhibit also features Liberty’s Five Flags, a selection of flag designs rarely displayed in Connecticut. Set within the historic Webster family home, the exhibit offers a rich look at American heritage in a setting where the threads of history and tradition intertwine.
The exhibit is open Monday through Saturday from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and is included with general museum admission.
Admission is $14 for adults and $12 for seniors and students.
