The Landmark Community Theatre presents Fiddler on the Roof at the Thomaston Opera House this October. Set in the village of Anatevka, the story follows Tevye, a poor milkman, as he tries to balance his devotion to tradition with the wishes of his five daughters. As Czarist Russia closes in and his daughters defy expectations, Tevye faces the challenge of protecting his heritage while embracing his family’s future. With its timeless humor, heartfelt story, and memorable music, Fiddler on the Roof remains one of the most beloved musicals ever staged.
Performances take place on October 4, 10, 11, 17, and 18 at 8 pm, with matinees on October 5, 12, and 19 at 2 pm. Admission is $26 per person, not including fees.
