Father’s Day Behind the Scenes Tour at Connecticut Trolley Museum

Celebrate Father’s Day with a unique and historic experience at the Connecticut Trolley Museum in East Windsor on Sunday, June 15, 2025, beginning at 10:00 am. This special behind-the-scenes tour offers visitors the rare chance to get up close with ongoing restoration projects, including the 121-year-old Connecticut Company Car #3001 and Northern Ohio Traction & Light Co. #1500, dating back 112 years.
Guests will be guided through areas typically closed to the public and can enjoy rides aboard vintage trolleys operated by costumed motormen. Each ride includes historical insights into the trolley cars and the museum’s origins. The Visitor Center features additional exhibits, a trolley-themed film, and a gift shop for souvenir shopping.
Admission also includes access to the Connecticut Fire Museum on the same grounds, featuring antique fire trucks and apparatus. All rides and activities operate rain or shine.
