Farm Day at the Florence Griswold Museum

Families can enjoy a day of farm-themed fun during Farm Day at the Florence Griswold Museum on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Held in celebration of the Cow Tales exhibition, the event will feature a pop-up mini farm with live animals from Wounded Eagle Farm in Canterbury, Connecticut.

Guests can meet cows, chickens, and sheep as they roam the museum grounds, adding an interactive and lively element to the day. Creative visitors can take part in plein-air painting in the pasture, while those feeling lucky can participate in Cow Plop Bingo for a light-hearted competition. A guided public tour of the Cow Tales exhibition will take place at 2:00 pm.
