March 29 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

The Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra continues its 78th season with Fanfare for Life & Spring on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 7:30 pm at the Garde Arts Center in New London. This concert, taking place on National Vietnam War Veterans Day, honors the dedication of the armed forces while welcoming the arrival of spring.
The program opens with These Worlds in Us by Missy Mazzoli, followed by Samuel Barber’s Adagio for Strings, dedicated to late ECSO Board member John Anthony. The performance continues with Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 3 in C Major, featuring soloist Adam Adov, the winner of ECSO’s 2024 Instrumental Competition. The evening concludes with Robert Schumann’s Symphony No. 1 in B-flat Major, known as the “Spring Symphony.”
A pre-concert chat at 6:30 pm in the Oasis Room at the Garde Arts Center is free and open to the public. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. While no ticket is required for the lecture, concert tickets are needed for entry into the performance.
Tickets range from $12 to $70, with discounts available for those under 40 and military members, sponsored by Chelsea Groton Bank. Subscription packages offer up to 40% savings over single-ticket purchases.
