Family Story Time at Connecticut Museum of Culture and History

Families can enjoy a cozy afternoon of storytelling and creativity at the Connecticut Museum of Culture and History. Children under the age of 10 are invited to settle in on beanbags for a reading of a book all about creativity and innovation. Afterward, families will be encouraged to embrace their own inventive spirit by working on a craft project in the Inspire Center.

This free drop-in program is part of the museum’s Free First Weekend, generously supported by Berkshire Bank. No registration is required, and the program is designed for kids and their caregivers to enjoy together.

Family Story Time takes place on Sunday, October 5, and Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 3:00 to 3:30 pm at the Connecticut Museum of Culture and History, 1 Elizabeth Street, Hartford, CT 06105.
