Family Movie Night: Tangled at Connecticut Museum of Culture and History

Families can enjoy a special screening of Tangled, following Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder as they embark on a magical adventure to see the floating lights. After the movie, participants can take home a goody bag to create their own fairytales using paper dolls, costume cut-outs from the museum’s collection, and images of different places around the state. Guests are encouraged to bring pillows, blankets, and wear cozy footy pajamas. Free popcorn, juice boxes, and quiet toys are provided for the movie experience.

The event is scheduled for Thursday, January 23, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with doors opening at 5:30 pm. This program is free and ideal for children 12 and under. Pre-registration is recommended as space is limited. The museum is located at 1 Elizabeth Street, Hartford, Connecticut.
