Family Movie Night: Inside Out 2 at Connecticut Museum of Culture and History

Emotions take center stage during a special screening of Inside Out 2 at the Connecticut Museum of Culture and History on March 13, 2026 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Families can follow Joy, Sadness, Disgust, Anger, and Fear—along with Riley’s newest emotions—on another colorful adventure that explores what it means to grow up.
Before and after the film, children can dive into hands-on activities and crafts included in a take-home goody bag, discovering how colors have symbolized emotions, beliefs, and ideas throughout history and today. Families are encouraged to bring pillows and blankets and wear cozy pajamas for a relaxed movie-night atmosphere. Free popcorn and juice boxes will be provided, and quiet toys and activities will be available for young viewers during the film. Doors open at 5:30 pm, and the movie begins at 6:00 pm.
This program is free and ideal for children ages 12 and under. Pre-registration is encouraged as space is limited. The event takes place at the Connecticut Museum of Culture and History, 1 Elizabeth Street, Hartford, CT 06105. To reserve free tickets or for more information, contact Katerina Mazzacane, Youth and Family Programs Manager, at 860-236-5621 ext. 222 or email kmazzacane@connecticutmuseum.org.
