Family Fun Day: Celebrate America! at the Mattatuck Museum

Celebrate community, creativity, and American history during Family Fun Day: Celebrate America! on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 1 pm to 4:45 pm at the Mattatuck Museum.

This free family-friendly event features a variety of interactive activities designed to engage visitors of all ages. Guests can explore the Museum through gallery activity stations, participate in scavenger hunts, enjoy storytime, and create hands-on art projects inspired by American history and culture.

Family Fun Day offers an opportunity to learn, play, and make memories together while discovering the Museum’s exhibitions in a fun and welcoming environment.

Admission is free. This program is supported by the State of Connecticut on behalf of the CHET 529 College Savings Program.
