Family Day at Roger Tory Peterson Estuary Center

Families are invited to celebrate nature, science, and the arts at Family Day on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 1 pm to 5 pm at the Roger Tory Peterson Estuary Center in Old Lyme. Set along the scenic Lieutenant River, this annual event offers a wide variety of interactive activities for all ages.

Highlights include hands-on science experiments, nature-based games, crafts, and plein air painting. Visitors can also enjoy live music from local band Sunny Train beginning at 3 pm, complete with family-friendly entertainment like giant bubbles. The Lions Club will be on-site with hamburgers and hot dogs available for purchase.

Admission is $10 per family. Registration is encouraged but not required and can be completed online or at the door.
