Fairfield Museum’s Gustave Whitehead “Fly In” Demo

Fairfield Museum’s “Fly In” will be held on Saturday, August 11th from 10 am to 2 pm. This is a free event.

Celebrate the anniversary of Gustave Whitehead’s flight in 1901 at Turney’s Farm in Fairfield. View a replica built by Andy Kosch of Whitehead’s flying machine, the “No. 21 Flyer” and learn about his historic flight experiments.

Hobbytown presents aerial demonstrations of remote controlled aircraft and drones while the Fairfield Flying Aces demonstrate their remote-controlled aircraft. Kids can assemble and fly their own balsa wood model flyer! Free!
