Faded is the Crimson – Acoustic Tribute to the Grateful Dead at Weston History & Culture Center

An evening of acoustic Grateful Dead favorites will take place on July 26, 2026 from 5:30 pm to 7 pm at the Weston History & Culture Center, 104 Weston Road, Weston, CT 06883. Parking and entrance are accessible from High Acre Road.

Part of the Music at the Barn Outdoor Summer Concert Series, Faded is the Crimson performs an acoustic tribute inspired by the Grateful Dead’s iconic 1981 live album Reckoning. Led by guitarist JD Seem of Faster Things – Allman Brothers Tribute, the all-star lineup features musicians from several well-known Connecticut bands, delivering a laid-back evening of classic Dead songs, harmonies, and improvisational musicianship.

The concert takes place outdoors on the scenic grounds of the historic Coley Homestead. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, picnic dinners, and beverages to enjoy during the performance. Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome.

Admission is $15 for Weston History & Culture Center members, $20 for non-members, and free for children ages 12 and under. Tickets are available online and at the door.

In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be rescheduled. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit westoncthistory.org.
