Exploring Art-ism: Printshop at Yale Center for British Art

The Yale Center for British Art presents Exploring Art-ism: Printshop on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 10:30 am to 12 pm. This free, family-friendly program is designed for children ages five to twelve with autism or other sensory processing differences and offers a welcoming and creative environment for all participants.

Families will explore the patterns and imagery featured in the museum’s Hew Locke and William Blake exhibitions before using rubber stamps to design their own prints and patterns. The session includes guided engagement with artwork in the galleries followed by a hands-on artmaking activity in a museum classroom.

Developed by the museum’s Education Department in consultation with the Yale Child Study Center, Exploring Art-ism provides an inclusive experience that encourages creativity, self-expression, and family connection.

The Yale Center for British Art is located at 1080 Chapel Street, New Haven, Connecticut. Registration is required.
