Exploring-art-ism: A Program for Children with Sensory Processing Differences at Yale Center for British Art

Children with sensory processing differences and their families are invited to take part in a creative and inclusive experience at the Yale Center for British Art on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 10:30 am. Designed for children ages five to twelve, this free program offers a welcoming environment to explore works of art, practice social skills, and engage in hands-on activities.

This month’s activity invites participants to make stamps of their favorite things and create a personal work of art. The session supports focus and social interaction while offering a quiet space with sensory toys for those who need a break.

“Exploring-art-ism” is developed in consultation with the Yale Child Study Center and facilitated by the museum’s education department. It provides a positive and engaging way for families to enjoy art together in a supportive setting.

The Yale Center for British Art is located at 1080 Chapel Street, New Haven, Connecticut. For more information, visit britishart.yale.edu.
