An event every week that begins at 1:00 pm on Sunday and Thursday, repeating until November 24, 2024
From October 24 to November 24, 2024, bring the family to explore history, art, and autumn beauty at the Weston History & Culture Center. Open on Thursdays and Sundays from 1 pm to 4 pm (closed on 10/31, 11/3, & 11/28), this seasonal program offers an array of engaging exhibits and tours.
Featured Exhibits & Tours:
- “Weston…What Lies Beneath” – Discover artifacts from the historic Peter Thorp House through rare photographs, videos, and hands-on activities. Kids can dig for treasures in the Kids Corner.
- Guided Tour of the Coley House – Learn about 1940s life in Weston and enjoy interactive fun with vintage toys, Lincoln Logs, and an old typewriter.
- Daniel E. Offutt, III Sculpture Garden – Wander through a whimsical outdoor space filled with vibrant autumn colors and playful sculptures. Kids can hunt for the hidden toadstool!
Admission:
- Free for Weston History & Culture Center members
- $5 for adults
- $3 for children
