EveryBody Dances with Lynn Peterson at Yale Schwarzman Center

EveryBody Dances returns to the Yale Schwarzman Center with a contemporary modern dance masterclass led by Lynn Peterson on May 4, 2025. This series brings together local and guest dance artists to lead classes in a variety of styles including jazz, hip hop, salsa, modern, and more. Classes are held in the Dance Studio and are open to all community members.

This week’s session, taught by Lynn Peterson, is designed for dancers ages 15 and up with prior experience. Peterson is the co-founder of SYREN Modern Dance and has spent over two decades performing and teaching in the U.S. and abroad. She has served as a United States Cultural Ambassador and currently teaches at Choate Rosemary Hall, is a Teaching Fellow for Jacob’s Pillow Curriculum in Motion, and a Teaching Artist with Arts for Learning CT.
