Essex Steam Train Rail-Bike Adventures
April 4 - May 31
The Essex Steam Train is now offering the chance to pedal a Rail-Bike for a 75 minute, 6 mile round trip adventure over easy terrain starting from The Haddam Meadows State Park located on Rt. 154 in Haddam.
Cost: $40.00 includes rental of rail-bike for one or two people for the seated 6 mile round-trip excursion (average time is 75 minutes round-trip).
One person must be at least 18 years of age and will need to sign a waiver on day of excursion.
2020 Dates: April 4, 5, 11, 18, 19, 25, 26 and May 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 30, 31
As a strenuous, outdoor, open-air activity, you may be exposed to certain risks on this Rail-Bike adventure.
Minimum Height Requirement: 48 inches
Parking and Boarding location is Haddam Meadows State Park Route 154, Haddam, CT 06438. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your Pedal Time and proceed to Rail-Bike Waiting area. There are no walk up reservations; reservation must be made in advance.
