Environmental Afternoons at Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center

Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center in Mystic will offer Environmental Afternoons on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, from 1:15 pm to 4:00 pm. This science-based program introduces students to the natural world through hands-on activities, live animal encounters, games, and time for nature play. Sessions are divided by age group: Explorers (ages 4–6), Scientists (ages 7–9), Adventurers (ages 10–13), and Animal Curators (ages 13–15). The Animal Curator program offers a unique experience focused on wildlife care and environmental stewardship.
Each class is priced at $18.70 per child for members and $22 per child for non-members. Students should bring a snack, water bottle, and be dressed for outdoor exploration in all weather.
