Elf on the Elgin 303 at the Connecticut Trolley Museum

Families can step aboard the historic Chicago, Aurora & Elgin Railroad car #303 for a festive holiday ride at the Connecticut Trolley Museum in East Windsor. This seasonal experience features hot chocolate served in a souvenir cup, along with a cookie and a candy cane presented by two holiday elves. As the train makes its turn, children can write letters to Santa, which are collected on the westbound trip and delivered to Santa’s mailbox in the Visitor Center. After the ride, guests are welcome to explore the Visitor Center while the museum prepares for the next departure.

The event takes place on December 21, 2025 from 10 am to 3 pm and is held rain or shine. Tickets are recommended in advance, as walk-in availability is not guaranteed.
