Easter Bunny Express at the Railroad Museum of New England

Hop aboard the Easter Bunny Express with the Naugatuck Railroad for a family-friendly springtime adventure through the scenic Litchfield Hills, running on select dates from April 5 to 19, 2025.
During this festive excursion, passengers will enjoy a scenic train ride as the landscape awakens from winter. The train makes a special stop at the Bunny Patch, where children will help rescue the Easter Bunny’s rubber duck friends. Every child will get the chance to meet the Easter Bunny and receive a chocolate-filled egg from his personal collection.
Premium coach seating includes an extra gift from the Easter Bunny, onboard bathrooms, and complimentary snacks for a more comfortable experience. Lounge seating is also available for a luxury ride. Children under 2 ride free on an adult’s lap.
Excursion dates and departure times are:
- Saturdays: April 5, 12, and 19 at 10 am, 12 pm, 2 pm, and 4 pm
- Sundays: April 6 and 13 at 10 am, 12 pm, 2 pm, and 4 pm
- Friday, April 18 at 10 am, 12 pm, 2 pm, and 4 pm
A special sensory-friendly departure in partnership with Sun, Moon, and Stars will take place on Saturday, April 12 at 4 pm.
Tickets range from $20–22 for coach, $25–30 for premium coach, and $39 for lounge seating.
