Earth Day 2026 Celebration in Fairfield

A community-wide Earth Day celebration takes place on May 2, 2026 from 10 am to 1 pm at two locations: the Fairfield YMCA, 841 Old Post Road, Fairfield, CT 06824, and First Church, 148 Beach Road, Fairfield, CT 06824.

Fairfield’s Earth Day Celebration 2026 brings together National Drive Electric Earth Day and an Earth Day ReSale for a morning of environmental awareness, family-friendly activities, and local engagement. The event highlights sustainability initiatives, including the opportunity to explore electric vehicles and learn about Fairfield’s growing EV town fleet.

Designed for all ages, the event features interactive exhibits, educational activities, giveaways, and a community passport program where participants can visit exhibitors at both locations and collect stamps for a chance to win prizes.

Food and refreshments will be available throughout the event, with local vendors and bake sales supporting community groups. Visitors can also explore YMCA spring program offerings at the Fairfield YMCA and connect with community members at First Church.
