Ducks in Love Weekend at Ripley Waterfowl Conservancy

Celebrate Valentine’s Day in a truly unique way with Ducks in Love Weekend at Ripley Waterfowl Conservancy, taking place February 14–16, 2025. This special event offers an intimate look at waterfowl courtship, guided tours, and cozy fireside refreshments, making it a perfect outing for nature lovers.

Private guided tours will be available on February 14 and 15, with 45-minute sessions starting on the hour from 10 am. Guests will enjoy an exclusive guided experience, followed by a fireside gathering with handcrafted Thorncrest Chocolates, warm spiced cider, and refreshments. Private tour pricing is $50 flat plus $20 per additional person (up to 10 people).

On February 16, group guided tours will be offered at 10 am and 2 pm, with a limit of 30 participants per session. These engaging tours will feature educational insights into waterfowl courtship, up-close interactions with Avian Ambassadors, and a fireside Q&A session with warm spiced cider and refreshments. Group tour pricing is $25 per person for non-members, with a 10% discount for members.

Ripley Waterfowl Conservancy, located at 55 Duck Pond Road in Litchfield, CT, is home to more than 90 species of waterfowl and rare birds. Nestled on 250 scenic acres, the conservancy is dedicated to conservation, breeding programs, and fostering a deeper appreciation for these remarkable birds.
