Visitors can explore the stories and history behind the exhibition Drawn Here: Stories from Hartford’s North End during recurring gallery talks at the Connecticut Museum of Culture and History. Guided by a member of the Museum staff, the interactive introductory tours offer insight into the exhibition’s themes, artwork, and the experiences of the communities represented throughout the display.
Gallery talks will take place on June 14, August 9, and September 13 from 2 pm to 2:30 pm, as well as on July 3 from 11 am to 11:30 am and July 5 from 12:30 pm to 1 pm.
The exhibition examines the migration history and culture of Hartford’s North End through original graphic novels created by local students and professional artists, offering visitors a unique and engaging perspective on the neighborhood’s rich history.
The Connecticut Museum of Culture and History is located at 1 Elizabeth Street, Hartford, CT 06105. The tour is included with Museum admission, and no pre-registration is required.
