Dragon Boating 101 at Riverside Park Hartford

Dragon Boating 101 Lessons will be held on September 10th to October 3rd from 5:30 pm to 7 pm. Classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Riverside Park in Hartford.

Dragon boating is the fastest growing on-water sport in the world, fun for adults of all ages and fitness levels. This class is beneficial for beginners and seasoned paddlers alike. Class components will include safety, paddling skills, history, and communication of dragon boating, as well as the enjoyment of the natural environment and wildlife of the Connecticut River. Our coaches/steerspersons refine participant’s technique through a variety of on-water paddling exercises and work to create a team atmosphere in the boat.

The class consists of eight 90-minute sessions, $165 per participant.
