Award-winning Pantochino Productions Inc. presents Dorothy’s Christmas in Oz, a brand-new holiday musical opening Friday, December 6, at the Milford Arts Council, The MAC, located on Railroad Avenue in downtown Milford. This festive show, created by Bert Bernardi and Justin Rugg, follows Dorothy as she returns to the Land of Oz to celebrate the holidays and rediscover the true meaning of family. Featuring beloved characters, new faces like Santa Claus, unexpected twists, and memorable songs, this production promises plenty of humor and holiday cheer.
The cast includes Pantochino’s core members Mary Mannix, Shelley Marsh Poggio, Maria Berte, Don Poggio, Valerie Solli, Jimmy Johansmeyer, and Rugg, with additional performances by Killian Meehan, Chad Celini, Leanne Onofrio, Justin Amaro, and Katie Durham. Young actors Ella Bedenbaugh, Davis Burke, and Brennan Simonelli also join the production. Victoria Sautee adds her signature flair to the show. The production team features sets by Von Del Mar, costumes by Johansmeyer, lighting by Jakob Kelsey, and sound design by Tyler Kittleman, with stage management by Christina Ronquillo.
Pantochino Productions, now in its fifteenth year, is known for delivering “ridiculously entertaining” theatre for families. This not-for-profit company also runs theatre camps, drama clubs, a teen theatre program, classes, and more.
