Dogwood Festival at Greenfield Hill Church

Celebrate spring at the 88th Annual Dogwood Festival, taking place May 10 and 11, 2025, on the beautiful grounds of Greenfield Hill Church in Fairfield.
Festival hours are Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm. Guests can browse a large crafts fair featuring dozens of New England vendors offering handmade jewelry, accessories, artisanal foods, photography, and other unique creations.
Families will enjoy a full slate of kid-friendly fun, including crafts, games, and a bounce house located on the church playground. Live music will fill the air all weekend with performances by talented local musicians.
Grab a bite at the Blossom Café, offering fresh and healthy fare with live music from 12 to 2 pm each day. Don’t miss the Blossom Bakery, featuring homemade cakes, cookies, breads, and pies prepared by the church’s talented bakers. A baking competition will also be held this year.
A variety of local food trucks will be on site to satisfy every craving. Gardening enthusiasts can explore the Plant Boutique, made possible by Outdoor Design and Living, offering a colorful mix of annuals, perennials, herbs, and hanging baskets.
Other highlights include guided history tours around the Greenfield Hill area, a special ticketed tea event on Friday, May 9 called “Dressed to a Tea,” and the traditional Blessing of the Animals on the church steps at 12 noon on Mother’s Day.
Admission is free, and all are welcome to this cherished springtime tradition.
