Docent Tour: William Blake – Burning Bright at Yale Center for British Art

The Yale Center for British Art will offer a docent-led tour of William Blake: Burning Bright on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 3 pm to 3:45 pm.

Led by a volunteer museum educator, the tour explores the vivid imagination and radical vision of one of Britain’s most original and enigmatic figures. The exhibition showcases the YCBA’s extraordinary holdings of Blake’s work, including illuminated books, watercolors, and hand-colored prints. Guests will discover how Blake combined image and text to express bold ideas about religion, politics, and the human spirit during a time of great social and cultural change.
