Docent Tour: “Tracey Emin: I Loved You Until The Morning” at Yale Center for British Art

Visitors can explore the raw emotional power of Tracey Emin’s work during a docent-led tour of Tracey Emin: I Loved You Until The Morning at the Yale Center for British Art in New Haven. This special exhibition marks the first major North American museum presentation of Emin’s work, showcasing paintings, sculptures, and works on paper created from 2007 to the present.
Emin’s expressive and autobiographical style delves into themes of love, loss, and the female experience, offering an unfiltered glimpse into deeply personal narratives. The tour offers insights into her artistic journey and the ways her work connects with the human condition.
The tour takes place on Sunday, July 6, from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm. Tours begin in the Entrance Court by the Visitor Services desk and are led by the museum’s dedicated volunteer educators. Each tour provides a unique perspective and encourages thoughtful dialogue. Admission to the museum is free.
The Yale Center for British Art is located at 1080 Chapel Street, New Haven, Connecticut. For more details, visit britishart.yale.edu.
