Docent Tour: The Architecture of the YCBA at Yale Center for British Art

Visitors can explore the iconic architecture of the Yale Center for British Art during a docent-led tour on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at 3:00 pm. This in-depth experience highlights the museum’s landmark building designed by renowned modernist architect Louis I. Kahn (1901–1974).
The tour, led by a trained volunteer educator, offers insight into Kahn’s design principles and the unique architectural features that define this internationally celebrated structure. Tours begin in the Entrance Court near the Visitor Services desk and last approximately 45 minutes.
