Docent Tour | The Architecture of the YCBA at Yale Center for British Art

This docent-led tour offers an in-depth look at the Yale Center for British Art’s celebrated building, designed by modernist architect Louis I. Kahn. Guests can learn about the museum’s architectural significance, distinctive design features, and the ways Kahn’s vision shapes the experience of viewing art within the space. The tour is led by the museum’s volunteer educators, who share their own perspectives while guiding visitors through the building. This 45-minute tour meets in the Entrance Court by the Visitor Services desk and takes place on December 21 from 3:00 to 3:45 pm.
