Docent Tour: The Architecture of the YCBA at Yale Center for British Art

Discover the iconic design of the Yale Center for British Art during a docent-led tour on Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 3:00 to 3:45 pm. Led by volunteer museum educators, this interactive experience offers an in-depth look at the architectural brilliance of Louis I. Kahn (1901–1974), the celebrated modernist architect behind the museum’s distinctive building.
Tours meet in the Entrance Court by the Visitor Services desk. Each tour lasts approximately 45 minutes and provides unique perspectives on both the building and its role in housing the collection.
