Docent Tour: Permanent Collection at Yale Center for British Art

The Yale Center for British Art will offer a docent-led tour of its permanent collection on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 2 pm to 2:45 pm. This interactive program provides an opportunity to explore highlights of In a New Light: Five Centuries of British Art, featuring works from the sixteenth century to the present in a reimagined installation.

Led by volunteer museum educators, the tour invites dialogue and discovery, offering unique perspectives on both the artworks and the museum’s iconic Louis I. Kahn-designed building. Guests will gain fresh insights into the collection while experiencing a welcoming, conversational approach to art appreciation.
