Docent Tour | Painters, Ports, and Profits at Yale Center for British Art

This docent-led tour offers a conversational introduction to the exhibition Painters, Ports, and Profits: Artists and the East India Company, 1750–1850, highlighting key artworks and themes through guided discussion. Led by volunteer museum educators, the tour is designed to encourage dialogue while exploring how artists engaged with global trade, empire, and cultural exchange during this period.
The tour takes place on Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 3:45 pm at the Yale Center for British Art, 1080 Chapel Street, New Haven, CT. Tours meet in the Entrance Court by the Visitor Services desk and are approximately 45 minutes long. Admission is included with museum entry.
