Docent Tour: J. M. W. Turner: Romance and Reality at Yale Center for British Art

Explore the brilliance of J. M. W. Turner during a docent-led tour of Romance and Reality, a landmark exhibition at the Yale Center for British Art. This special presentation highlights the museum’s extensive Turner collection—the most significant outside the United Kingdom—including acclaimed oil paintings, watercolors, and prints. The tour will take place on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 3:00 pm and will last approximately 45 minutes. Tours meet in the Entrance Court by the Visitor Services desk. All tours are led by the museum’s dedicated docent team, who offer engaging insights and foster thoughtful dialogue around the collection and the iconic Louis I. Kahn-designed building.
