Docent Tour | J. M. W. Turner: Romance and Reality at Yale Center for British Art

Art enthusiasts can explore the groundbreaking work of J. M. W. Turner during a docent-led tour of J. M. W. Turner: Romance and Reality at the Yale Center for British Art. This special exhibition features the museum’s unparalleled Turner collection—the largest outside the United Kingdom—including iconic oil paintings, watercolors, and prints.

Guests will learn how Turner’s masterful use of light, color, and atmosphere revolutionized landscape painting and continues to influence artists today. Tours begin in the Entrance Court by the Visitor Services desk and last approximately 45 minutes.
