Docent Tour | Hew Locke at Yale Center for British Art

This docent-led tour offers an in-depth look at the work of artist Hew Locke, whose sculptures, photographs, and found-object installations explore themes of identity, migration, and the lasting influence of empire. Guests can view pieces spanning three decades as Locke reinterprets historical symbols and examines the visual language of colonialism. The tour meets in the Entrance Court by the Visitor Services desk and provides an opportunity to engage with the artist’s work through the unique perspectives of the museum’s volunteer educators.
