Docent Tour | Hew Locke at Yale Center for British Art

This docent-led tour offers a closer look at the work of artist Hew Locke, whose sculptures, photographs, and mixed-media pieces explore themes of identity, migration, and the lasting influence of empire. Guests can experience three decades of Locke’s artistic practice and see how he reimagines historical symbols and the visual language of colonialism. Volunteer museum educators guide the tour, providing context and insights into the exhibition. The tour meets in the Entrance Court by the Visitor Services desk and takes place on December 21 from 1:00 to 1:45 pm.
