Docent Tour | Collection Highlights at Yale Center for British Art

Discover the treasures of the Yale Center for British Art during a docent-led Collection Highlights Tour on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 11 am to 11:45 am in New Haven.

Volunteer museum educators will guide visitors through In a New Light: Five Centuries of British Art, an exhibition showcasing works from the sixteenth century to the present in a newly reimagined installation. These interactive tours highlight significant pieces from the collection while inviting dialogue and engagement with the art and the iconic Louis I. Kahn–designed building that houses it.

Tours meet in the Entrance Court by the Visitor Services desk. Each tour lasts approximately 45 minutes and reflects the unique perspectives of the Center’s vibrant community of docents.
