Docent Tour | Collection Highlights at Yale Center for British Art

This docent-led tour offers an engaging overview of highlights from the Yale Center for British Art’s renowned collection. Led by volunteer museum educators, the tour explores works featured in In a New Light: Five Centuries of British Art, a reimagined installation presenting art from the sixteenth century to the present. Each tour reflects the docent’s unique perspective and encourages conversation around the artworks and their historical context.

The tour will take place on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 11:00 am to 11:45 am at the Yale Center for British Art, 1080 Chapel Street, New Haven, Connecticut. Tours meet in the Entrance Court by the Visitor Services desk and last approximately 45 minutes.
