Docent Tour | Collection Highlights at Yale Center for British Art

The Yale Center for British Art will host a Docent Tour: Collection Highlights on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 2 pm to 2:45 pm in New Haven.

Led by volunteer museum educators, this interactive tour invites visitors to explore highlights from the Center’s renowned collection. The reimagined installation, In a New Light: Five Centuries of British Art, spans works from the sixteenth century through the present, offering fresh perspectives on the richness and diversity of British art.

Tours begin in the Entrance Court at the Visitor Services desk. Each 45-minute program reflects the unique insights of the docent, providing a welcoming and engaging opportunity to connect with both the artwork and the iconic building designed by Louis I. Kahn.
