Docent Tour: Collection Highlights at Yale Center for British Art

The Yale Center for British Art invites visitors to explore its world-renowned collection during the Docent Tour: Collection Highlights on Saturday, November 29, 2025, from 11 am to 11:45 am. Led by the museum’s volunteer educators, this engaging tour offers an interactive look at major works that define five centuries of British artistic achievement.

The tour focuses on In a New Light: Five Centuries of British Art, an exhibition featuring paintings, sculpture, and works on paper from the sixteenth century to today, presented in a refreshed and dynamic installation. Participants will gain deeper insight into the artists, historical moments, and themes that shaped the evolution of British art.

Tours meet in the Entrance Court by the Visitor Services desk. The Yale Center for British Art is located at 1080 Chapel Street, New Haven, Connecticut. Admission is free and open to the public.
