Docent Tour: Collection Highlights at Yale Center for British Art

Discover the depth and diversity of British art during the Docent Tour: Collection Highlights at the Yale Center for British Art. On Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 11 am to 11:45 am, visitors are invited to join volunteer museum educators for an engaging exploration of key works from the museum’s world-class collection.

The tour features In a New Light: Five Centuries of British Art, an exhibition spanning from the sixteenth century to the present, presented in a newly reimagined installation. Participants will gain insight into the artists, historical contexts, and artistic movements that have shaped British art across five centuries.

Tours meet in the Entrance Court by the Visitor Services desk. The Yale Center for British Art is located at 1080 Chapel Street, New Haven, Connecticut. Admission is free and open to the public.
