Docent Tour: Collection Highlights at Yale Center for British Art

Discover the breadth and beauty of British art during the Docent Tour: Collection Highlights at the Yale Center for British Art. On Friday, November 21, 2025, from 2 pm to 2:45 pm, visitors are invited to join volunteer museum educators for an engaging, interactive exploration of key works from the museum’s renowned collection.

The tour focuses on In a New Light: Five Centuries of British Art, an installation that spans from the sixteenth century to the present and showcases masterpieces reimagined in a fresh curatorial context. Participants will gain insights into the artists, techniques, and historical moments that shaped British art across five centuries.

Tours meet in the Entrance Court by the Visitor Services desk. The Yale Center for British Art is located at 1080 Chapel Street, New Haven, Connecticut. Admission is free and open to the public.
