Docent Tour: Collection Highlight at Yale Center for British Art

Visitors can explore the Yale Center for British Art’s renowned collection with a docent-led tour that offers an engaging look at selected highlights. The featured installation, In a New Light: Five Centuries of British Art, spans from the sixteenth century to the present and showcases a fresh reimagining of the museum’s extensive holdings.

Docents lead interactive, 45-minute tours that begin in the Entrance Court by the Visitor Services desk. These volunteer museum educators offer unique perspectives and foster thoughtful conversation about the art, architecture, and historical context of the collection, housed in the iconic Louis I. Kahn-designed building.

The tour will take place at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 23, 2025.
